Never Forget Our Fallen Heroes Ride (Benefit)
Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Darrough Chapel Park

This is a ride we do to let family memebers know we havent forgot their sacrifice they've made, and to honour our fallen heros due to the war. The ride is for bike, car, or truck. Sign starts at 9:00 am, ride leaves at 10:30 am. A rain date is set for July 17th. We start at Darrough Chapel with a brief ceremony then escort the families to Peru to the VFW where they have a tribute set up for our 9 local heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice. They also have food and drinks available. The ride will end in Burlington, concluded with an auction. The cost for the ride is $5 per person. Proceeds will be going to a college assistance program to benefit a family memeber thru the Indiana Patriot Guard in honour of our fallen heroes. Shepherd's Lambs Early Childhood Minsitry is being recognized at the 10:15 worship service for 10 years of service to children of the Kokomo area. There will be a pot luck dinner following and all alumni of Shepherd's Lambs Preschool and daycare are invited to attend.
