  • How to Enter the Contest:

    1. The daily TNT Auto Txt2Win Contests will take place between 4:00pm and 6:00pm weekday afternoons.
    2. To participate in the contest, entrants should text the daily keyword and short code to WWKI. The keyword and short code will be announced each day on WWKI during the contest period. By submitting your entry you will become a member of the WWKI Mobile Club. Standard text messaging rates, as established by an individual’s wireless carrier, may apply, and WWKI assumes no responsibility for any fees or charges incurred for and associated with any text message sent to or from WWKI. Any and all fees arising out of the transmission of a text message shall be the sole responsibility of the entrant. By participating in a contest in which text message based entry is permitted, entrants acknowledge that text messages are distributed and delivered through third party providers; WWKI does not guarantee, and shall not be responsible for, the delivery or timeliness of any text message entry. WWKI will at all times consider the time that a message is logged as arriving in its system as being the time of entry, regardless of the time at which the entrant attempted to send the entry and any technical problems or other complications that may have delayed its delivery. WWKI is not responsible for service outages, message failures, transmission delays or any other factor affecting the availability or performance of the text messaging service. Contests with text message based entries are subject to WWKI’s Privacy Policy. By participating in the contest, entrants agree that WWKI may contact that entrant at the telephone number from which the text message entry was received. All text message entries must come from a valid and identifiable telephone number. WWKI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry if that entry’s source and sender cannot be reasonably determined. WWKI, through its third party text messaging administrators, will store all messages received on its system. WWKI may require, on request, proof of identity as to the rightful owner of the phone number from which the text message entry was sent. WWKI is not responsible for lost, stolen, mutilated, destroyed, misdelivered, postage due, illegible, incomplete or untimely entries. WWKI is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches. WWKI is not responsible for any lost, disconnected, dropped, misdirected or incomplete telephone calls. Entrants may be disqualified at the sole discretion of WWKI.

     

     

  • Eligibility Restrictions:

    1. The contest is open to all WWKI listeners who are legal United States citizens 18 years of age or older and who reside in Indiana. Employees of WWKI, its licensee, Cumulus Media, their subsidiaries, affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in Indiana and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. Immediate family shall include spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren and any other person residing within the same household.
    2. Listeners are eligible to win a WWKI contest only once every thirty days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.
    3. Participants in the contest must possess valid government issued photo identification.
    4. Signed Contest Winner Release required for the receipt of any prize.
    5. Text message entries shall be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the cell phone number associated with the entry. For the purpose of the Contest Rules, “authorized account holder" of a cell phone number is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a cell phone account by a cellular service provider.

     

     

  • Prizes:

    1. Prize packages vary from day to day and will be announced each day during the contest period.
    2. All prizes or prize certificates must be picked up at the office of WWKI, 519 North Main Street, Kokomo, IN 46901. Any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty (30) days of winning will be automatically forfeited by the winner, unless a prize has an expiration date, in which case a prize may be forfeited earlier than forty five days from winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival. WWKI is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
    3. Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.
    4. Prize winners will be responsible for the payment of all taxes due as a result of their winnings and may receive an 1099 IRS Tax form for the value of their prizes.
    5. Prizes are limited solely to those items explicitly set forth herein and shall not include any and all other expenses, incidentals or taxes that may arise out of the winner’s receipt of this prize.
    6. Prizes will be awarded as is, with no written or express warranty.

     

     

  • Selection of Winners:

    1. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.
    2. Winner to be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entrants during each contest. Entries will not carry over from one contest to any other contest. Eligible entrants for each drawing will be those contestants who submitted their entry by text message within the daily contest period. Each winner will be drawn at the conclusion of each contest period.
    3. Entrants need no be present to win. Winner will be notified by text message and, if necessary, by telephone. If the winner(s) cannot be contacted within 48 hours, an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing.

     

     

  • Conditions:

    1. Photo identification and social security number of each prize winner may also be required in order to collect the prize. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent. Winner will receive a 1099 for the value of the prize as stated in these contest rules.
    2. Winner is required to sign a release in order receive their prize. Failure or refusal to execute the release will result in winner forfeiting the prize. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold WWKI, its licensee, Cumulus Media, their subsidiaries, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
    3. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners (and their guest or traveling companion, if applicable) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.
    4. WWKI, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the WWKI Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
    5. The Station reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify the contest rules and dates at any time for any reason. Material modifications shall be announced on-air, when practical. By participating in this contest, you agree to be bound by these contest rules, any modifications thereof, and by all other rules imposed by Station management. If due to circumstances beyond the control of Station, any event associated with this contest or the prize is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
    6. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
    7. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of WWKI.
    8. WWKI is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
    9. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WWKI, 519 N. Main Street, Kokomo, IN 46901 or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to same.
    10. Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of greater or equal value at its sole discretion.
