Guilty plea for shaken baby

A Logansport man has pleaded guilty to battery charges for shaking a 1-month-old girl after she began crying. Hogan Moss, 23, was babysitting the girl in a Bunker Hill apartment – the mother was out running errands. Prosecutors said Moss severely shook the baby, who suffered a brain hemorrhage and retinal hemorrhaging in her eyes.

On Apr. 24, a Miami County Circuit Court judge will announce if he’ll accept the plea deal and could call for a 6-year prison sentence for Moss.
