Luck of the Kokomo man
Kokomo native Rick Rhodes must have some extra luck in his back pocket. Rhodes was a contestant at last night’s Hoosier Millionaire show in Ft. Wayne. The show is making a comeback tour to celebrate its 25th Anniversary and Rhodes earned himself a coveted spot on the show’s state finals at Indiana State Fairgrounds in August. A lucky and excited Rhodes also brought home $13,500. He said he plans to give some of his winnings to Special Olympics and keep that luck near for August.
Early voting
Early voting is underway in Miami County for the primary election. The early voting started Apr. 8 and will conclude May 5 – a day before Election Day. Registered Miami County voters can visit the Miami County courthouse from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
