Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum

Yesterday marking the grand reopening of the newly named Fair Grounds Coliseum. The 123 year old venue underwent a 63 million dollar renovation to become the only modern mid-sized, multipurpose facility in Central Indiana. The Coliseum will seat 6,500 event goers for concerts, Indy Fuel games, IUPUI men’s basketball games, and all the animal shows during the Indiana State Fair. The upgraded venue’s makeover also came with contemporary lighting, a bar, and even features upscale food carts offered by the Savor Society.

Ride of the Troops

Kokomo’s annual Ride for the Troops will be taking place this Sunday, April 27 at Darrell Chapel Park on Kokomo’s east side.  It all gets underway at 11 AM, then kick stands will go up promptly at 1:30 PM.  Make sure you arrive a little bit early to have time to register.
