Downtown Kokomo is building its way to a better community and Kokomo Mayor Greg Goodnight announced a major downtown construction project Monday morning in Council Chambers at City Hall. The announcement will discuss how the city will develop a 14-acre area downtown Kokomo, which coincides with flood mitigation. City leaders will give details about the first phase of the city's flood mitigation program.
