Text to 911. If you’re in Verizon network and need 911, you won’t have to make a call. The network is offering its users access to 911 via text in Howard County later this year. T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T have voluntarily committed they’ll give service members text-to-911 capabilities.

Construction for Grissom Air Reserve Base

Grissom Air Reserve Base will close shop for 45 days starting June 1. The runway will face $3.2 million in construction to install expansion joints on the 2-mile runway. All Grissom air refueling aircrafts will ship out from Ohio during the construction.
