Indiana State Fair toasting to new exhibition

Indiana State Fairgoers will be offering a cheers to hot weather and hogs during Indiana State Fair this year. For the first time ever, the fair will host the Indiana Beer and Wine Exhibition at Grand Hall on Main Street. The exhibition, which will run Aug. 1 through 17, features tasting tables and schools sippers on beer and wine making.

“This is an opportunity for the Indiana State Fair to showcase two very important Indiana agricultural industries,” Indiana State Fair Executive Director Cindy Hoye said. “We will maintain the family atmosphere the fair has always had while adding this ag education component, which is at the heart of our mission.”

The exhibit will responsibly serve patrons from 1 to 9 p.m. each day of Indiana State Fair.
