Pre-school voucher program

Howard County will not be getting the preschool voucher as a pilot program. Despite the county applying for the program that provides quality pre-school curriculum for low-income families. it was not one of the five Indiana counties selected. Gov Pence announced Tuesday the five counties that will debut the $10 million pilot program in 2015 are Allen, Jackson, Lake, Marion and Vanderburgh counties.

Kokomo Air Show

It’s a show in the sky tomorrow and Friday at Kokomo Airport. The free community event starts at 1 p.m. and gates open at 10 a.m.  The air show brings together planes and pilots for spectacular viewing of flights in action.
