Breaking ground: City of Kokomo has broken ground on the Kokomo Municipal Stadium. The field will be home to several area baseball teams, concerts and more. The field is expected to be completed by 2015 after a flood mitigation program.

Kokomo Speedway's Smackdown

Kokomo Speedway started racing Thursday night; before Mother Nature broke up the party. Thunderstorms rolled in around 8:40, raining out the rest of night 1 of Kokomo Speedway’s three-night show, Smackdown. Kokomo Speedway will resume Thursday night’s show Saturday at 2 p.m.
