Indiana University Kokomo sets record

Indiana University Kokomo has set a record number of credit hours taken by students. IUK students have enrolled in a highest-ever 39,590 credit hours for fall 2014 enrollment. That’s not the only record for the Kokomo campus: IUK has a 23 percent increase in international students; welcoming a record-number of 54 international students in their largest-ever freshman class.

Tri-County Tractor Country Showdown names new winner

Tri-County Tractor Country Showdown took over Tipton County Pork Festival Friday night as contestants competed for $1,000 and a chance to move on to the regional level of the national showdown. In the end, it was The Meek Sisters who brought home the win and earned some extra dough.
