Male Call crew going back in time for broadcast

Kohkohmah Living Encampment will host its annual fall event Sept, 20 and 21. as 1,000 people reenact history in Howard County. The Male Call crew will be broadcasting from the festivities Friday, Sept. 19 as the historical gem is prepared for a monumental weekend. Admission is $6.

World of Outlaws race through Kokomo Speedway

The World of Outlaws will get racing Tuesday night at Kokomo Speedway. Hot laps for the special show, rescheduled from earlier this summer, will begin at 6 p.m. World of Outlaws legend Steve Kinser will be competing during the evening’s feature.

New inductee at Howard County Automotive Heritage Hall of Fame

Howard County Automotive Heritage Hall of Fame will induct a new member to its list. Harry E. McGonigal will join the ranks with Haynes, Apperson, Kingston and other renown names that reign over the auto industry. McGonigal founded H.E. McGonigals, Inc.—the city’s oldest car dealership. The very dealership that sold the cars that help make Kokomo’s economy run as smoothly as the cars built here
