Boy takes his second joy ride
A 12-year-old boy with special needs took his second joy ride in three months early Tuesday morning. According to Tippecanoe County Sheriff's office Ethan Flynn left his Battle Ground home at 3:30 a.m Tuesday and drove a car east until he was spotted by Carroll County Police at about 7:30 a.m. Flynn's first joy ride was Aug. 5, when he found and drove a white school bus around White County before crashing it into a Brookston, Ind. home.
Community Howard names new president
Community Howard has hired a new president. Joseph Hooper will begin official duties Dec. 15. Hooper most recently served as chief operating officer for Marion General Hospital. He'll replace Ron Lewis, who served as the interim president of Community Howard — during the past six months.
Kokomo High School students break a leg
Kokomo High School will host its winter play Friday and Saturday. "Just Another High School Play" will feature Kokomo High School's drama club acting in its latest onstage production. The performances begin at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $5 at Kokomo High School.
