History will be unveiled Thursday at Kokomo’s downtown train depot. Kokomo Historic Review Board, Howard County Historical Society and City of Kokomo will reveal a new historical marker at the site of Kokomo’s last remaining train depot. The depot on Buckeye Street was in operation in 1910, but has been restored in the newly redeveloped Depot District. The district has seen more than $10 million in redevelopment of restuarants and businesses.

New name for Fairgrounds Coliseum
The Fairgrounds Coliseum will get a new name, thanks to Indiana Farmers. The 75-year-old building will be named the Indiana Farmers Coliseum as part of a 10-year, $6 million deal with Indiana Farmers. Although the name change is immediate, a new sign is still in the works.
Indiana Farmers is headquartered in Carmel and has provided home, farm, and business insurance to Hoosiers since 1877.
