E-cigs to face regulatory legislation

Electronic cigarettes may face tighter regulations and new taxes in 2015. Indiana’s attorney general is working with state lawmakers to introduce a bill in the General Assembly that will enforce stricter regulations for the battery-powered devices that allow users to inhale nicotine.

New laws for moped operators

2015 brings some new state laws with it. One law zones in on moped and scooter drivers. Drivers will need to be at least 15 years of age, and have a valid driver’s license or learners permit. Any operator under 18 must wear a helmet. Drivers of scooters and mopeds will also be required to not exceed 35 mph and keep headlamps illuminated during operation.
