The old song of baseball nostalgia says: "Take me out to the ballpark… I don't care if I ever get back." But your heart may not give you a choice– if you eat one of these puppies. The latest weird food trend is sandwiching — basically anything — in between two sugary-coated Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
In Delaware, a single-A affiliate baseball team is helping you embrace America's pastime in hideous fashion. They're serving up a hot dog wrapped with a couple of oooey gooey Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Then, topped with bits of bacon to keep that good ol' ticker of yours beating in a not-so-healthy style. If that's not quite enough for your exquisite palette, no problem. The hot dog is also lathered with raspberry jam — because jam always classes things up.
The cholesterol hound is nameless at the time. The team is enticing fans to name the disgusting dog themselves in an online poll. What would you name it?
