At first we raised an eyebrow when you told us you made your own laundry detergent. Maybe we even thought that weird smell in the office was your baking-soda washed blouse. Now, it’s become a trend. And, honestly, we’re kind of on board for this whole movement of tossing the chemicals; and making your own cleaning products.
We’re so on board we’ll even give you a simple recipe so you can go green too — while washing your clothes.
All you need is one 55-ounce box of Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda, one 76-ounce box of Borax and use a cheese grater to grate a 10-pack of your favorite bar soap.
Then, mix it.
Use one tablespoon of the dry detergent per load.
