Dollar Beard Club is here

DollarShaveClub.com got popular back in 2012 after they did a video where the founder walked around their factory, talking about how “[effing] great” their blades were.

Now three years later, they have two million members, and the company’s worth over half-a-billion dollars.

So riding their coattails might not be a terrible idea. A start-up called “Dollar Beard Club” is starting to take off, because they posted a parody of the Dollar Shave Club video this week.

It’s a guy with a huge beard, walking around a factory just like the original video. But he starts by saying razors, “demolish your manhood.” Then he walks up to a guy who’s shaving and slaps him.

It isn’t just a joke though. For a dollar a month plus shipping, they send you little bottles of beard oil instead of razors. Or you can pay more to get other stuff, like brushes and beard shampoo.

The video is up on their website, DollarBeardClub.com.
