Early bird gets the worm? Not according to scientists

I’m pretty sure every parent in the country would be less stressed and happier if school started later. That’s really what parenting is all about: Your comfort.

So here’s a twist. According to a new study by the CDC, scientists found your kids really SHOULD start school later — for their sake.

The study found that the average school day starts at 8:03 A.M. when it should really start at 8:30 or later.

The big problem with the earlier mornings is that kids just aren’t getting enough sleep, which actually affects their grades. It’s also dangerous for their health and safety.

Only about one in five middle schools and one in seven high schools in America start at 8:30 A.M.
