A new survey found 70 percent of Americans say they have a pretty strong knowledge about our national landmarks. But they’re wrong. Check this out:
1. 60 percent don’t know the Hoover Dam is between Nevada and Arizona.
2. 57 percent don’t know the Grand Canyon is in Arizona.
3. 37 percent don’t know the Space Needle is in Seattle.
4. 32 percent don’t know Alcatraz is in San Francisco.
5. 6 percent don’t know the Empire State Building is in New York.
6. 3 percent don’t know Times Square is in New York.
7. And 3 percent don’t know the White House is in Washington D.C.
