If you’re going to scam someone out of a few grand, why not target confused senior citizens like most con artists? It seems crazy to rip off the most psychotic and dangerous terrorist organization in the world.
Three young women in Chechnya, Russia just managed to swindle $3,300 out of ISIS.
Chechnya is mostly Muslim, and ISIS recruits there using social media. So they recently contacted these three women, who pretended they were interested in heading to Syria to join up . . . they just needed the money to get there.
Once ISIS wired them the money, they deleted all their social media accounts.
Unfortunately for them, the police monitor social media for criminal activity and terrorism — so they figured out what the women were doing. All three of them have now been arrested.
The cops say they don’t recommend communicating with terrorists to try to make some quick money.
