If you want to take your pet on a plane, you have to pay an extra fee. Airlines have never seen an opportunity for an extra fee they didn’t pounce on. You also have to keep it in a special pet carrier.
A woman brought her cat along on a flight from Las Vegas to Frankfurt, Germany this weekend — and instead of putting it in a carrier, she had it in her purse. (The flight was on Condor Airlines, which is based out of Germany.)
But right after take-off, the flight attendants realized the woman had the cat in her purse. So they took it away and put it in one of the bathrooms. That’s when the woman flipped out.
According to another passenger: “She said that she was part of the mafia and [they] follow her around the world, and that she was able to bring the plane down — if she couldn’t see her cat.”
That was enough to get the flight diverted. Two fighter jets even showed up to escort it to Denver. But for whatever reason, the FBI says the woman isn’t facing charges.
The flight finally took off for Germany on Saturday night. There’s no word on whether the woman or her cat were on it.
