You know your credit score is keeping you from getting a credit card with decent perks and being able to spontaneously buy a speedboat. But, did you know it’s also holding you back from love?

A new study found that your best bet at having a great relationship is: having a solid credit score.

Three economists found people with higher credit scores are most likely to be in committed relationships that go the distance.

If you’re single and have good credit, you’re 14% more likely than someone with worse credit to get into a strong relationship next year — and it’s 37 percent more likely to last.

They also found that people tend to wind up seriously dating people who have similar credit scores to themselves. And couples where one person’s score is way higher than the other tend to have trust issues.
