Now that we’ve run out of food to put pumpkin spice in, it’s spreading its tentacles elsewhere.
According to some hairstylists, the new trend women are asking for this fall is: pumpkin spice hair.
Meaning the color, not the smell. Although I’m sure if people could have pumpkin spice smell or flavor infused into their heads, they would.
As far as what it looks like, it’s basically reddish-brown. People are calling it the “PSL,” meaning Pumpkin Spice Latte. But if you want to get technical, we can do that.
Michelle DaCuhna is a stylist in New York City, and she calls it, quote, “subdued copper.” Apparently it’s “soft and gentle,” and works for either brunettes or blondes.
If you’re a brunette, you get a few delicate highlights and a gloss. If you’re a blonde, same thing — or you work with your existing highlights.
