Soda: The worst of the worst and the best of the worst

The website ‘Eat This Not That’ looked at 32 different types of soda, and ranked them according to how healthy they are. They factored in how many calories and grams of sugar each one had, and didn’t include any diet sodas.

And the healthiest is: Sierra Mist. One can has 120 calories and 29 grams of sugar. That’s not great, but it has no artificial flavors. Here are the ten healthiest:

1. Sierra Mist.

2. Seagram’s Ginger Ale.

3. Schweppe’s Ginger Ale. It has 20 percent more calories than Seagram’s.

4. Dr. Brown’s Cel-Ray, which is a celery-flavored soda.

5. Canada Dry Ginger Ale.

6. Sprite.

7. 7-Up.

8. Coca-Cola. Pepsi came in 12th, because it has 10 extra calories per can.

9. Cherry 7-Up.

10. Pibb Xtra, which is also cherry-flavored.
