A drunk guy was confused by a Civil War Reenactment

How many shots would you have to do before you genuinely believed the Civil War had broken out again? The answer is: however many shots this guy did.

Fifty nine-year-old Gary Alen Lane of McIntosh County, Oklahoma was drunk on Friday, and happened to stumble onto a Civil War reenactment.

And it’s not clear if he wanted to help the Union or the Confederacy, but he grabbed his sawed-off shotgun and started firing at the fake soldiers. Maybe he just hates Civil War re-enactors?

Fortunately no one was badly hurt — only one guy took a shot to the arm, but he was fine.

Gary was arrested for reckless conduct with a firearm, assault and battery with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm while under the influence, malicious injury to property, and resisting arrest.

After he was arrested, the re-enactors of the Battle of Honey Springs kept going.
