If your teen is buying laxatives from CVS, here’s why:

CVS started selling a new product last month called Homeopathic Constipation Relief. But really it’s just a shot of 40 proof alcohol mixed with water. Seriously, those are the only ingredients.

And now they’re worried that kids might realize the laxative is really just booze that they can buy without being 21.

So they’ve got a new policy to keep teenagers from getting hammered on their laxatives: A strict one laxative limit for anyone under 21.

Their employees won’t be carding people they’re just supposed to: “decline the sale of more than one bottle to anyone who seems suspicious [or] appears under the age of 21.”
