Spell it

Anastasia Spahr has spelled herself into Scripps National Spelling Bee. The fifth-grade Maconaquah Elementary student soared to victory over 29 students. Her winning word? Melancholy. However, Spahr was spared such an emotion after winning the regional spelling bee that will send her to Washington, D.C. this May.

John Rich is lassoing more than billboard chart-toppers nowadays. The Rich half of Big and Rich is now a fashionista, as he releases his own clothing line: Redneck Riviera. While Rich’s best accessory is usually his cowboy hat. The clothing line features an array of tshirts with slogans such as: “Weekend Warrior” and “It’s Funner in a Mudder”. The shirts are $19.99.
