House fire investigation

A house fire is under investigation this morning. Kokomo Fire Department is sorting through the details of the fire, which happened at 1249 S. Locke Street early Wednesday morning. Two people were in the home at the time of the fire, but escaped safely. KFD is trying to determine what caused the fire.

Mental Health Month

May is mental health month and Mental Health America is asking you to share your stories of how you strengthened your mind. It’s all part of a positive movement to strip society of its stigma about mental health. Grand Prix of Indianapolis

IMS is getting a new addition to month of May festivities and it all ignites today. Grand Prix of Indianapolis revs up its inaugural engine today for practice (10:45 a.m., 2:45 p.m.). The 82-lap race gets rolling at 3:50 p.m. Saturday. IMS will also host Indy Lights race at 1:30 p.m. and the Pro Mazda Race at 12:10 p.m.
