Greg Goodnight meets the community at a unique spot

All aboard for “Mayor’s Night Out” June 11. Mayor Greg Goodnight is taking his quarterly open house to the tracks. Goodnight will be meeting with Kokomo residents at the former railroad depot at N. Buckeye Street between Jackson and Jefferson streets from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Museums honor service members

Service men and women are getting a chance to see the gems of the country they serve. The Blue Star Museums is part of a national endowment that is paying for service members to take themselves and their families to 2,000 museums in the country for free. Howard County Historical Society is part of the movement and will happily host service members for free through Labor Day weekend.
