Kokomo Automotive Heritage Days

Kokomo Automotive Heritage days kicked off Wednesday at Markland Mall with a proclamation. Heritage Days celebrates Kokomo as the home of America’s first car when Elwood Haynes and the Apperson brothers built the first gasoline-powered car in 1894. Markland Mall will celebrate 50 years of Mustangs by showcasing the wheels of one of America’s sports car throughout Markland Mall June 25 through July 2.

Steve-O in Kokomo

Steve-O is bringing the laughs to downtown Kokomo. The shocking and shameless stand-up set that is Steve-O of MTV’s “Jackass” is getting a three-night run at Laugh House Kokomo Comedy Club. Steve-O talked to Kevin and Lindsay in the Morning Wednesday morning and rehashed life in a halfway house, competing on “Dancing with the Stars”, and everything in between.
