Howard County Sheriff Department gets rapping
Howard County Sheriff Department is proving they’re not sore losers. The group was in a fundraising competition hosted by KHCPL and lost. However, they didn’t sing their sorrows — they rapped to KHCPL. The loser of the fundraiser was to sing to the other and that’s exactly what Howard County Sheriff Department did. The group rapped at KCPL their tune, “The Law-Keeper blues. The fundraiser was for MLK Jr. Memorial that will be constructed in Kokomo.
Run in the neon
Glo in the Mo gets running through Foster Park in Kokomo Aug. 1. The neon event is part of a fundraiser for the Raise the Bricks Campaign to build a new Kokomo YMCA downtown.
