The handyman in you loves a good home project. It all starts out well and good. You have that perfect shade of burnt orange for your dining room, the tarp is down, and you made a painting playlist. You are freaking prepared. 

 

You're rolling that paint in the perfect  rhythm –until the phone rings. This is one you have to actually answer. Instead of throwing your paint brush down, and creating a pool of orange sunrise on your tarp use our life hack. 

 

Glue a magnet to the side of the paintbrush. Next time a minor catastrophe interrupts your rhythm, stick the magnetic paintbrush to the inside edge of your paint can. All the drips of orange delight will go back into the can — not on your floor.
