Western High School robotics team advances
Western High School robotics team is heading to the world championships. PantherTech competed against 31 other teams in the state competition — held in Indianapolis. The local team succeeded in 68 qualifying matches of Recycle Rush Friday and Saturday to snag a qualification spot for the world championship in St. Louis later this month.
Two Indiana basketball courts to get facelift
The Final Four may make Indiana a focal point of basketball. However, it also brought good news for two basketball courts in Indiana. Coors Light's "Full Court Refresh" program has donated $30,000 to refurbish two basketball courts in the Hoosier state. The news was announced Sunday by basketball analyst Kenny Smith. The courts getting a facelift haven't been chosen yet.
Travel changes
Construction crews are scheduled to start work on a new roundabout in Westfield on Monday.
The roundabout construction will take place at the intersection of 156th Street and Spring Mill Road. It will replace the four-way stop at the intersection. The construction will require the intersection to be closed for 60 days.
