About 11.57 million people filled out NCAA March Madness brackets on ESPN.com this year. The person who did the best out of all of them was a 12-year-old kid.
Sam Holtz of Lake Zurich, Illinois had an amazing run. He only made eight incorrect picks out 63 games, and they were all in the early rounds. So he got all four Final Four teams right, and picked Duke to win the championship.
One other person did equally well, so ESPN uses their score prediction for the championship game to break the tie. But neither person filled in a final score, so it goes to a random drawing.
The winner gets a $20,000 Best Buy gift card and a trip to a basketball tournament in Maui, Hawaii in November.
Except there's a chance it won't matter. You had to be at least 18 to enter, and Sam used his dad's account, with his dad's permission.
ESPN hasn't announced how they're going to handle it yet.
