The wage gap between men and women is unfair and terrible and blah blah blah. At least we all know there’s a solution to it: Just pay women more. We have no idea what the solution would be to this gap.
A new study of people in 47 different countries found that even though women sleep longer than men, men almost always wake up happier.
In 44 out of 47 countries, the average man wakes up in a better mood than the average women. The only three countries where women wake up happier or at least as happy are Colombia, Portugal, and the Ukraine.
Here in America, men sleep an average of six hours and 54 minutes a night and women sleep seven hours and 11 minutes. But, men wake up in a better mood.
The people behind the study didn’t offer up any theories on why men are in a better mood in the morning than women.
